Please note that there may be some changes to our terms of hire depending on what social distancing measures are still in place at the time. Our capacity figures relate to the number of people the rooms can fit without social distancing. Please call to discuss your event in relation to Covid-19 measures. We are currently updating all of our bookings so keep an eye out for new pictures and other materials that should make it even easier to book with us!
The largest of the halls, Lambert Hall is named after Rev Lambert who was the incumbent at the time the main church was built. The hall has beautiful wooden arches and pillars throughout and most of the features are original (with some upgrades!). Lambert Hall has its own entrance and access to toilets and a full functioning kitchen. It also has a stage with curtains and stage lighting. The hall could be used for parties, wedding receptions, performances, art exhibitions or for local businesses and groups to name a few. Due to its ceiling height of around 25ft, it can also hold a bouncy castle for children's parties!
Stage and kitchen available for use at an additional £5 per hour each.
We don't charge for the kitchen if you are just wanting to make some tea! Special rates can be discussed for regular users.

Recently renovated to include a carpeted dais, the Martin Hall used to be Tuffley School, which was closed in 1881 and then declared as a church dedicated to St Barnabas. The Martin Hall has its own entrance and access to the kitchen and toilets. It is an open space with solid wood flooring, suitable for smaller groups, meetings or away days. Its position adjacent to the Lambert Hall means it could easily be used as a "green room" if you were having a performance. There are also ballet bars situated around the room, so if you are a dance teacher this is a great venue for you!

The Jordan Lounge is our newest project and we're really excited to be making a start on it! The Lounge offers a more intimate and comfortable space for a variety of needs; counselling and one to one sessions, executive and smaller meetings, group training , interviews and a coffee and natter with friends. We'll update this page when it's ready!
The building has a raised platform, perfect for performers or speakers. We have recently had a new sound system installed for radio, hand-held or plug-in microphones, all of which can be controlled with an iPad. We have an Aux input for playing audio tracks and a screen and laptop for an overhead projector should you wish to use it. We have recently upgraded our WiFi, which runs at a downlead speed of 37.4mpbs and an upload speed of 9mbps meaning you are able to Live Stream your event. There is an output from the sound system if you would like to stream audio from the sound system.
For musicians, we have a Yamaha Electric Grand Piano and an Organ. In 2016, we hosted the Three Choirs Festival and previous visiting choirs have either used our choir stalls or the platform - the choice is yours! Performers or speakers can make use of the side chapel as a waiting area should they wish to wait "off-stage". At the back of the church, there is a small kitchen with a fridge and hot water. If you decide to serve refreshments, you are welcome to use our tables, which could be laid out for intervals or breaks. The whole building is accessible and there is a side door that wheelchair users or people with prams can use. There is also an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.
If you are celebrating, then why not book one of our halls as well to treat you team to a meal or to have a place to rehearse!
