"We are continuing to develop our ministry in the wake of the current situation and are pleased to say that several members of our ministry team are now leading morning and evening prayer on Facebook Live. It has been great to see some familiar faces! Our Barnabas Buddies scheme is now live and our team of volunteers are doing excellent work to make sure that we continue to look after one another. Our plans for Holy Week and Easter have now been finalised and can be seen in our most recent Parish Notices sheet (please see link above).

"We are continuing to develop our Virtual Church web pages and you should now be able to access our main page, this "Church Matters" page and a new page of resources to Worship from Home. All of the attached resources from St Barnabas are hosted using Google Drive. If you have any problems accessing these then please contact Ellie Todd and she will try her best to help. Thank you all"

"Hello all. Many of you will have just heard the Prime Minister's statement on new ways that we can all make a difference and slow the spread of Covid-19. We must stay home. We can go shopping infrequently for basic necessities. We can exercise daily in family groups. We can travel to and from work. Along with other public buildings, our church building will now be closed. However, this does not mean that the church is closed!

We will continue to pray for the current serious situation. We will continue to offer essential care where we safely and legally can, working with recognised community groups. We will continue to minister to bereaved families. We will develop our 'Barnabas Buddies' phone support network and we will continue to meet online, making the most of the technology we have available.

Please pray and please follow the government advice. Stay home - this is the best way you can help others! God bless you all"
