Remembering Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

St Barnabas Church will be open 10.00am-6.00pm this weekend and 9.00am-7.00pm Monday-Friday next week. The church grounds, memorial garden and tranquility garden are open 24/7. Inside the church there is a memorial book where you can leave any condolences and candles that you can light. Flowers can be left in the church grounds.

We are meeting tomorrow at 10:30am for a service of all age communion. At 4pm there will be a short prayer in church for our new King Charles III and the church bells will be rung.

Next Sunday 18th September, we will be meeting to worship at 8.00am and 10.30am as usual. We will continue to remember Her late Majesty the Queen and pray for our King, the Royal Family and our government. At our 10.30am service, we are looking to share our own memories or stories of the Queen. If you have memories, stories, pictures or anything you would like to share then please contact Revd Sarah Todd on 07534 720160 or revsarahtodd@gmail.com.

At this time, the date for the Queen's state funeral has not yet been confirmed but it is expected to take place on Monday 19th September at Westminster Abbey in central London. There will be a service in church the day before the funeral at 6.00pm.

As always, all are welcome at St Barnabas in this time of national mourning.
