Prayer Candles

We strongly believe that prayer changes things. God hears all our prayers and responds. At St Barnabas prayer is at the heart of all we do and we pray regularly for the world, the church and the people, including those that are hungry, thirsty and oppressed.

Leave your anonymous prayer requests on the prayer wall and we will pray for you at the end of each week.

We usually follow the Church of England Daily Prayer App for our morning prayer. It is a brilliant resource and you can use it on your own if you don't want to join online!

There are frequent opportunities for prayer ministry and we hold regular healing services with prayer for physical, mental and spiritual healing. We believe that the Holy Spirit heals today and we would encourage everyone to pray in the name of Jesus, with the faith that our prayers are heard. Keep an eye out for Healing and Wholeness services which take place some Sunday evenings at 5.30pm. Services are announced in the news sheet.

If you would like someone to pray with you please contact Rev Sarah Todd. All are welcome to join daily prayer on Facebook and we are also happy to put prayer requests for individuals in our news sheet so that the parish can join in prayer.
